Migratiesamenleving.nl is a platform for informed public debate on migration and integration in the Netherlands. It brings together researchers, practitioners and other experts to share knowledge, research findings and perspectives on current developments in the migration society.
The platform was initiated by the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Centre for the Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD) together with the Advisory Committee on Migration Affairs, WODC and Movisie. The initiative reflects our shared commitment to bringing research and expertise into public debate and making relevant knowledge accessible to a wider audience. The platform is hosted by Sociale Vraagstukken.
We invite GMD affiliates and others connected to the Centre to use Migratiesamenleving.nl as a space to bring their expertise into the conversation. Have you recently published research that raises important questions for policy or society? Do you have insights from policy advice, a new perspective on a policy development, or a response to a current debate on migration and diversity? Share your analysis and help connect research and expertise to the issues shaping the migration society today.
Contributions should be accessible to a broad audience and can take the form of a short think piece, reflection or timely response. The aim is not to reproduce academic publications, but to translate relevant knowledge and expertise into engaging contributions to public debate.
Have an idea for a contribution? Submit it directly to Migratiesamenleving.nl and help bring research into the public conversation.
