Job title
PhD Candidate - International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam

Currently, as a Ph.D. Researcher, I am doing research that explores the nexus of poverty alleviation policies and individual sustainable development through migration projects in China.

Having a multi-discipline background in economics and social psychology, I focus my study on the interaction between implicit beliefs and individual development in disadvantaged environments. My project explores the causal relationship between beliefs and poverty reduction which is a dark spot in the current literature. Ultimately, I aim to conduct interventions on beliefs and other psychological constructs to improve the individual socio-economic growth and human capital accumulation on an individual level. The findings will advance our understanding of poverty dynamics and improve poverty alleviation through additional tools for practitioners that are motivated by social psychology.

My work is informed by a range of quantitative and qualitative methods, with a focus on behavioral experiments and policy analysis approaches.
