Elif Naz Kayran is a post-doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs and the Institute of Public Administration working on the research programme ‘Citizenship, Migration and Global Transformations’. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from the IHEID and the University of Geneva. In her doctoral dissertation, she explored the effects of socio-economic vulnerability and inequality on public attitudes towards immigration and support for radical right-wing parties. She works on topics related to welfare states, immigration, voting rights, trade unions and politics of immigration, and the political participation and representation of immigrants.
