Lhamo Meyer holds a degree in Sociology with a specialisation in Governance of Migration and Diversity from the Erasmus University Rotterdam (2018). Coming from a family with a refugee background and having emigrated from Switzerland to the Netherlands, she has always been interested in migration and diversity related issues. She has worked in the fields of migration, refugee integration and social urban developments with a keen interest in connecting theory and practice.

Since December 2019, Lhamo Meyer is appointed Jr. Executive Manager of the LDE Centre Governance of Migration and Diversity. As Jr. Executive Manager she dedicates herself to the internal and external communication as well as the daily management and development of the research centre. Her main goals are to increase the centre’s visibility, strengthen its interdisciplinary character and use its potential to connect research and education with practice to generate societal impact.
