On the 21st of November, the GMD Student Board organized the first informal event: a social get-together at Cafe De Kroeg. After a joint History class in Leiden, students shuffled their way to Café De Kroeg for a drink and a chat with their fellow students. Nearly 30 students were in attendance (yay) and Professor Marlou Schrover, who was leading the History class before, joined the drinks too.
Students expressed that they had a great time talking, dancing, getting to know each other more, and taking a little pause from their studies. The Board hopes that all participants had an enjoyable night, and wants to thank them all for joining though it was such a busy week with a lot of assignments.
